Mexican Hot Chocolate Cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix

What you need:

  • 1 bag of Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Tear open one bag of the Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
  2. Mix in the dry ingredients; cinnamon and cayenne.
  3. Add in the butter, egg, vanilla and mix until well blended. 
  4. Freeze the cookie dough while you pre heat the oven. 
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F. 
  6. Scoop cookie dough onto the cookie tray using a medium cookie scoop. (If using another size you will have to adjust the baking time accordingly).
  7. Bake for 17-20 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool completely prior to removing from the tray. 
  8. Enjoy!
