Bacon & Cheddar Cheese Drop Biscuits

These Bacon & Cheddar Cheese Drop Biscuits, using the Classic Yellow Cake Mix, make the perfect low-carb side dish for the fall! They are savory and a great companion to your soups, stews, and for the holidays!

What you need:

  • Classic Yellow Cake Mix 
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk or heavy cream
  • 1-1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chives


  1. Prepare Cake Mix as directed on the package, omitting the vanilla extract.

  2. Mix in shredded cheddar cheese, bacon & chives* (ingredients can be modified to your palate).

  3. Use a large cookie scoop to drop the Biscuits onto a lined baking sheet.

  4. Bake at 325°F for 40 minutes or until top is golden brown. 

  5. Enjoy!
