Crispy edges. Gooey mozzarella. Your favorite pizza toppings. All made in a cast iron skillet.
If you love a pizza with a golden, crispy bottom and a crust you can customize just the way you like it, try making it in a cast iron skillet!
Dough Mix, this low-carb, gluten-free pizza is easy to make your own. Go thick crust or thin, load it up with your favorite toppings, and don't skip the Everything Bagel seasoning around the edge. Trust me on that one.
What You Need
- 1 package ROSETTE’S Dough Mix, 1/2 batch
- 2 cups mozerella, shredded
- 1 egg
- Tomato paste or sauce
- Your favorite pizza toppings
- Olive oil or cooking fat to grease the skillet
Bake This Way
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Prepare the dough. Make ROSETTE’S Dough Mix according to the package directions.
- Lightly grease your cast iron skillet to help prevent sticking and give the crust a crisp, golden bottom.
- Shape the crust. Press the dough into the skillet. Keep the edges a little thicker if you love a traditional pizza crust, or spread the dough all the way to the edge for a thinner crust.
- Add your toppings. Spread tomato paste or sauce over the crust, sprinkle with pizza seasoning, add the mozzarella, and finish with your favorite toppings.
- Place the skillet in the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is cooked through.
- Let the pizza rest briefly before slicing. Enjoy straight from the skillet!
ROSETTE’S TIP
Don't let the crust edge go to waste! Lightly spray or brush it with butter, then sprinkle with Everything Bagel seasoning before baking. It's a simple way to add extra flavor to every bite.
And remember, this is your pizza. Make it thick or thin, keep it simple with cheese, or pile on all your favorite toppings. There's no wrong way to pizza night!
